David has been an integral part of Legastat since joining the company in 1993. Over more than 30 years, he has progressed from operational roles to General Manager, gaining extensive experience across all areas of the business.
Today, David leads initiatives focused on technology, cybersecurity, compliance, and business resilience, helping to ensure that Legastat continues to meet the highest standards of service, security, and operational excellence. His combination of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and strategic leadership provides a unique perspective that supports both the company's continued success and future growth.
Outside of work, David is a keen follower of motorsport, cricket, and darts. Earlier in life, he earned his 1st Dan Black Belt in Karate, an accomplishment that instilled discipline, perseverance, and a commitment to self-improvement that continue to influence his approach both professionally and personally.
A passionate motorcyclist for many years, David also qualified as an Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) Motorcycle Observer, helping other riders develop advanced riding skills and safe roadcraft. His love of motorcycling led him to undertake extensive touring throughout Europe, combining a sense of adventure with a fascination for different countries, cultures, and landscapes.
These days, whilst spending less time on two wheels, he enjoys DIY projects, cooking, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family.
