Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of remote hearings has continued to rise constantly. So much that Andy Carter MP introduced The Courts (Remote Hearings) Bill 2023-2024 on 11 December 2023. While unlikely to become law, the presentation bill shows the direction of travel. Remote hearings are here to stay, and along with them electronic court bundles.
There are several ways to create an electronic court bundle. You can use software where you upload individual documents and the software works its magic. You can use a court bundle presentation provider, who will also create the ebundle for you. Or you can use paralegal services who will manually assemble the documents into the required format. In all instances, you end up with the same result: a glorified PDF.
Having created thousands of electronic court bundles over the last four years, and listening to our clients' feedback, we found another way. We combine the automation available in Adobe (and elsewhere) with the experience of our paralegals. Hyperlinks, bookmarks, or index page ranges can be automated, allowing for last-minute changes without compromising the deadline or increasing costs. Paralegals with a keen eye for detail ensure the bundle is correct, on time, all the time.
With prices starting at £150 + VAT for a small bundle, our approach is straightforward. Fast and efficient, nothing to subscribe to. If you need a court bundle prepared, please contact us, and we'll be happy to help.
Needless to say, we can also print the bundle for you. Despite the rise of electronic court bundles, we still produce over 1,500 paper bundles every month (our carbon reduction plan is in place to keep the planet as sustainable as possible 😀).
